The lesson was so exiting. In the beginning of the lesson, I learned Tagalog. From the half of the lesson, we switched to English conversation. In the case of Tagalog lesson, my teacher helped me using chat to correct my Tagalog sentences. At the English time, she prepared a materials like video and presentation document for me so that I was able to tell my opinion and thinking easily in English.

After trial class, I know Cheryl can help me! She is so approachable and always encouraged me to speak English 💕when I use wrong grammar, she can correct me immediately, so I know where I need to improve in speaking English. After 5 classes with her, I have more confident to speak English and feel more relax in preparing the cabin crew interviews. Thank you Cheryl!!

Today we talked about different types of diets. It was quite interesting to learn about these. We discussed the differences between each type. It is good to try to answer and ask questions.

A cup of latte is the way to releave from the intense working envirnment for me now. If I didn't drink coffee that day, i will feel super uncomfortable. But for now I can only buy coffee from convenience store. Hope I can WFH when I start working and make myself a great latte every afternoon.

Eddie is focusing on students learning needs and very flexible to adjust the training material. Recently, we started to use a series of podcast which related to working skills to improve my competency and use some customized dialog material to help me improve speaking fluency. That's really helpful.

Stephen is a very good teacher. He will discuss with me about my future class plan and give notes after class for me to improve .I learned something new after my my first lesson. Looking forward for my next lesson.

We talked about the current situation in the UK. Sophie is always willing to help, and she identifies my mistakes after I finish my talk. This is very helpful and effective, although I keep forgetting basic things like the past tense. Anyway, thank you so much

This course was truly amazing! The teacher introduced a magical Have/Has song, which instantly helped Eunice grasp the usage of these two words. It was incredibly impressive and left a lasting impression. Looking forward to the next class, expecting more enjoyable learning experiences!

I had a speaking lesson with Mike. Last week, Mike suggested if I had a free time seeing the movie, ‘Cast Away’ in which Tom Hanks stars. I have watched this twice. While I was watching this film, I was thinking if I were Chunk who is the main cast in this movie on the desert island, I obviously would die there because I couldn’t imagine that I might have survived there without the Internet and books by myself. I know it sounds ridiculous but I’m serious.

This is Odo’s first Zoom lesson, and I’m amazed that he enjoyed it. Before the lesson started, I was unsure whether he would stay in front of the computer and listen. Sometimes, Odo runs away and becomes so hyperactive, speaking in alien words, but the Teacher Candice is patient and always guides him back to the class. However, he answered many questions and is looking forward to seeing Teacher Candice again. He also doesn’t want to say goodbye; he wants to chat more.

The most remarkable experience for me is that Julian emphasizes the importance of writing. As a learner, I did not have enough confidence to write essays well, but he plucked up my courage and showed me lots of useful writing skills. He has also made me realize that writing is closely associated with speaking. And he can instantly point out my blind spots in writing during class time and correct my grammatical errors in my homework. Thank you, Julian

The most impressive word in this class is binge which means to consume a large amount of something in a short period of time. For example, I used to binge watch Korean series I had missed overnight in order to find out the truth of a crime. That wasn't a good experience because I had to sleep more in a row to make up for the lost sleep.

In this session we talked about the book tripods trilogy white mountain. I had a lot of fun discussing the metaphor of the book. Also it’s cool to learn about the movie fight club. This movie will be discussed in our next session.

Micheal is accurate on time. He taught my kid the right way of answering questions and also correct her wrong pronunciation. Overall, we learned a lot from class. These are my kid’s most headache problem from my view. Hopefully, she can improve to next level after some of the lessons.
