Today is my third class. Although my sentences are still not complete, I feel more encouraged to speak. I used to afraid of making mistake when I needed to talk, but now I'm no longer feel shy.

In this class, I learned about voting in India. The teacher asked me some questions and let me choose to agree or disagree. Before I responded to the answer, the teacher gave me a structured answer template to modify it. I feel so good.

Just a note to say that I have enjoyed the class and learnt a lot (I can’t dispute that!). Most interesting for me has been the need to research areas that we plan to talk about. Research of news bulletins is second nature to me. Looking at places I visit with a fresh eye to see if a story about them really does have legs. My girl Chelsea likes Courtenay very much! Compared with the beginning of the class, Chelsea can speak a whole sentence confidently after the continues classes but not word by word. Chelsea is not shy to speak English anymore, she talks with Courtenay like a friend and share with Courtenay about herself. I am really appreciate Courtenay for encouraging my girl to speak confidently.

What a productive class! Even I booked a wrong session of the class and only 25 minutes. Christian didn't watse any minutes to teach. Today's we learns 8 useful idioms and Christian provided a lot of example to make me have a better understanding how to use them. Good job!!

Gosh it seemed I had a long long time tonight. I had a dizzy condition in this class. Really feel sorry for my gums inflammation. But I did learn a lot in this class such vocabulary and practical phrases. Thank you Sir!

We had a very extensive course today, discussing the culture difference. I like the spectrum(high context and low context) Teacher Fifi hared to us, which can guide us think where Taiwan is. It's happy to know new classmates: G shared the way she trained her muscle with her sister while M shared she loved to shadow the voice she likes. I like your voice very much, do you record anything? I shall follow it and repeat the listening of it. 😍

I learned the new grammar which is present perfect continouus and had one conversation part to talk with somone what happend recently. Finally, I read a part of reading. Thank you Maki, see you next time.

Today, I had an opportunity to talk with someone from Belgium. I asked him to give me some feedback about my English conversation. He said it has improved a lot! My English classes are really paying off. He found me very fluent on the phone. He is looking forward to seeing me next time in Taiwan to have an excellent conversation!

Today we learned about difficult conversations, we first discussed about the topics of difficult conversations given by the website and talked about our experiences, then we read some words and used them to finish sentences, and then we used those sentences and tried to discuss what happened before, and we watched a video and discussed about those tips given and tried to use them in actual conversations. I really want to know what will be next class’s lesson!

Thanks for the class, Teacher. It was a nice conversation class, and April had good opportunity to practise her speaking. She’s still recovering from the jet lag, and might be slow in chatting. Thanks for your encouragement as always and I’m also happy to see her progress gradually.

This is actually my first time taking an online class outside of school requirements.
