we continued our reading of the fiction, learned how the verbs and adjectives were used to describe characters’ emotions and actions, and also discussed about the meaning of the quote. It’s difficult but interesting!

Today I finished my presentation on the trip to Tainan and Chiayi. Teacher Vivian is patient, kind and good at listening to students and also good at encouraging students. Thank you for helping me improve my conversational English. CU next time.

I had a good atmosphere during the class and many opportunities to express my ideas 💡, which gave me more confidence to speak; Lauren corrected me after that, so I could understand how to improve my English structure. I highly recommend Lauren to everyone.

Today we practiced introducing myself. Arthur reminded me to present my doctoral dissertation research in a more concise way. Introducing yourself is not about arguing with people, but about your interests and how they relate to others. Thank you very much Arthur for your guidance.

In today's class we look at some writing, the unclear structure and wrong grammar points we need to focus on. We spend more time in speaking, which the advanced vocabularies I need to included and also to expresee more ideas and detail in the test.

Teacher Paul helps me a lot through the whole preparation of interview. He'd give students lots of time to speak, provide insightful feedbacks and business-wised advices clearly. Highly recommended to have class with Paul if you're preparing for interview or business English!!

Today’s new challenge: I prefer to choose an aisle seat because I always sleep and go to the restroom on the way, so I don’t want to bother others. When we are familiar with short answers, the teacher gives us new challenges. Today, we need to choose a question and answer it in more detail. I hope I can practice to notice the grammar!

Today we did shadow speaking via a video to practice speaking and intonation. That was absolutely fun. If there’s anyone asking me “Is every class to your liking?” I’ll say “Are you kidding me (upward voice)? This(pause) is(pause) the best on-line class(normal) I have ever had(fast)!”

早起會話班27 - practice to share in longer and completed sentence "My favorite place to take out-of-town guests is Jiufen or northeast coastline, because they are very near to Taipei and also very beautiful places of Taiwan which can demonstrate the beauty of Taiwan." This is a very common question that how to introduce Taiwan to a foreigner, I really feel that Taiwan's mountains and seas are very beautiful, I always share to my American or India colleagues that the one magic thing in Taiwan is within 40 minutes, you can arrive high mountains, or sea to see different views of Taipei city. Taiwan is really a super convenient and safe place to travel.

What’s your favorite room in your home? Why? My favorite room is the living room. I will invite guests in the living room to chat and play video games together. I also do yoga in the living room and watch TV tutorials to prepare dishes because my kitchen is an open kitchen. The living room is the place where I spend the longest time at home, so I like it here the most. The class has passed about 4 months, I am so happy to see myself improving, being able to speak more and no longer afraid to speak, I am very grateful to have good classmates and teachers. I look forward to meeting you all. :)

She has a strong passion for teaching . Her lessons are well structured, She helps me to learn business language and I already feel that I can freely express my opinion on various issues.

Fateme is a very good teacher. She makes you feel at ease, she is very structured and clear in her teaching. This course it very well suited to learn the basic of Persian. Both in writing/reading and talking. She is fast to answer questions even in between classes and always motivating.
